General Sports Information
At Cedar Grove Christian Academy, children enjoy opportunities to develop their physical skills as well as academic abilities. Beginning in preschool, children take part in a variety of group games, exercise activities, and outdoor play.
Lower School, Middle School, and High School students are involved in a weekly physical education program designed to introduce sports, games, and life-time skills such as teamwork, self-discipline, and sportsmanship.
Students take part in health education classes intended to help them understand the human body and promote ways to stay healthy and strong.
A variety of sports, clubs, and teams are available to Lower, Middle, and High School students.
Boys and Girls Basketball teams, Boys and Girls Outdoor Soccer teams, Co-ed Softball, Track, and Volleyball are some of the programs. CGCA also offers indoor soccer and basketball programs both competitive and intramural. Each of the clubs and interscholastic teams help build endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
